FYP1 Meeting
In the second meeting, we have been notified or informed that week 5 is the last week for the students to find their own supervisor for their project and registered their project title via FYP UniKL BMI website. Students who ignore the due date might have some issue for their project in the future.

Project Synopsis
  • Nowadays, technology rapidly growth, but people do not survive in their life after road accident because there are no emergency facilities available in our country. A major part of the accident is due to the uneven interruptions. If emergency services get the accident information in time, then many lives could have been saved. In this project, a smart-based vehicle accident detection and rescue information system is developed in order to detect vehicle accident and send the location information of the accident place to the nearest hospital or police station via GSM.
  • This project is helpful in detecting the accident and alerting the nearby help centre by tracking the geographic location. It uses vibration sensor which can detect the certain vibration when an accident is occurred, used an ultrasonic sensors for distance calculation and an accelerometer to monitor the speed limit of the vehicle. The controller gets the input from sensor and send the accident alert information to rescue team and family member and location of the accident place through GSM and GPS. It may sounds simple but it will eventually can be a method to prevent people from death that are caused by accidents.

Conclusions :
Therefore, although this project pretty straightforward and easy, I hope this project can be the other alternative method to reduce the risk of people dying caused by road accidents
